Biography:
Craig Hayashi is a founding board director of Maple Leaf Angels, Ontario’s largest and most active angel investment group with over 40 members and approximately $6m in financings closed since the group’s inception in 2007. Craig has been involved with angel investing since 2005 and has invested in several early stage companies. Craig is a regular contributor to StartupNorth, Canada’s leading start-up blog, where he writes on topics relating to early stage company financing and angel investing. Previously he was head of IT for Marsh Canada, a corporate insurance broker and risk management firm, and was responsible for technology strategy and operations for $100m+ business units in Canada and the US. Craig holds a Masters and Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Carleton University.
