Dan Zen is an inventor who has created over one hundred games, gadgets and communities online. In 2002 he won the Canadian New Media Awards Programmer of the Year for his site at http://www.danzen.com. At that time, he left his career in producing
Web features for large media companies to coordinate and teach at the Sheridan Interactive Multimedia program - http://imm.sheridanc.on.ca.
In 2008 he won the Canadian New Media Awards Educator of the year for his work in multimedia pioneering. As such, Dan Zen is well situated to give advice to digital entrepreneurs.
Dan Zen continues to invent, recently launching a series of advanced interface tools for Flash at http://flashfeathers.wordpress.com and has developed Focuso - out of focus photography for art - http://www.focuso.org and Nodism - the philosophy that looks at our learnings in the information age such as object oriented programming and
