Biography:
Darren Sissons evaluates investment opportunities for Scotia Capital. He has 25-years of experience in venture capital, operational and investment banking. Most recently Darren headed up the technology practice for a boutique investment bank focused on mergers, acquisitions, management buy-outs and go public strategies for rapidly growing software companies.
Prior to investment banking, Darren worked as a successful serial entrepreneur and held senior operating roles for three technology companies. Darren also worked at Royal Bank Capital Partners’ IT Fund and at MM Venture Partners. Darren holds a B.A. from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and is a Certified Management Accountant.
