Biography:
Michael Tourond is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) from the University of Regina. He taught high school for six years before entering the financial services field in early 1992. He spent nine successful years as a financial professional in Saskatchewan. In November 2000 Michael moved his financial planning practice, Tourond Financial Consulting to Ontario where he has used his experience to work with financial professionals across Canada consulting on complex planning cases. He is recognized as an expert at Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, and Financial Planning specific for business owners. Michael brings a level of integrity that always puts his clients first. Michael’s practice successfully balances the logic of a financial plan with the passion of his clients’ lifestyle dreams. Michael’s recommendations are based on the preparation of a professional financial plan that determines the best options for his clients to meet their goals. Michael has served on the board of ADVOCIS (the Canadian Association of Financial Planners) Greater Hamilton chapter as CLU chairperson. Michael has worked nationwide for financial professionals and for their clients, helping both to achieve their dreams.
